Stenter machines have to oil vapor, volatile organic compound (VOC-TOC) and odor emission. The exhaust gas, whose temperature is lowered by heat recovery units, is sent to an electrostatic filter. In the electrostatic filter, the exhaust gas is ionized by being exposed to high voltage. Then, as it passes through plates with opposite charges, pollutants are captured and filtered out. As a result; oil vapor, volatile organic compounds (VOC-TOC) and odor particles are filtered.
The unit has an automatic washing system that activates when it is time to wash without requiring any operator intervention. The frequency of washing varies depending on the working hours and process density.
